Checklist of what to gather before ordering your wedding invitations

Whether you are ordering custom or semi-custom wedding invitations, one thing remains constant; your information will always be custom. Weddings are like fingerprints, no two are the same.

When the time comes to place your wedding invitations, it helps to keep the process smooth as buttah if you have all of your info ready to go.

Here is a checklist to help to make sure you have what you need (Keep scrolling for the downloadable version!):

Invitation

  • Engaged Coupleโ€™s Full Names

  • Wedding Host(s) - Will the invitation be coming from the Parents of the Bride, of the Groom, the couple, or both families?

  • Ceremony Venue Name

  • Wedding Date

  • Wedding Time

  • Number of Invitations Being Sent

  • Reception Venue - If different than ceremony.

RSVP Enclosure Card

  • Return by Date - Double check with your venue, planner, and/or caterer to find out when they need the final head count. Make sure to leave some wiggle room, there are always a few stragglers!

  • Meal Selections - If including.

Details Enclosure Card

This is the most flexible part of the suite. You can include the information you feel is most pertinent. Here are the most common items to include.

  • Wedding Website

  • Directions to Venue(s)

  • Accommodations Information

  • Attire
